Here are the children from Years 5 and 6 who will be our St Francis of Assisi group for the coming year. Their first activity is to lead the collection of food items for the food bank at The Olive Branch in Lancaster. This is part of our Harvest Celebration next week and children in each class are invited to bring in the following items:

Reception class: tins of spaghetti hoops or ravioli

Year One: tins of fruit or vegetables (peas and sweetcorn)

Year Two: tins of meat or fish

Year Three: tins of tomatoes or chickpeas or Basmati rice

Year Four: pasta sauce jars or tinned rice pudding

Year Five: toothpaste or cereals or jam

Year Six: coffee, tea, multipacks of biscuits
