Today, we had our whole school May Procession. We started in school, where we heard the Gospel reading of the Wedding at Cana when Jesus performed his first miracle, prompted by Mary. Year 5 children reminded us that Mary brings our prayers to Jesus too. We then processed through the playground to the Cathedral where the head pupils placed a crown of flowers on a statue of Mary and children in Reception class placed flowers before the statue. With the help of children in Year 4 and their parents, we reflected on the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary and we prayed for ourselves and those in need in our community and world. It was a beautiful and reflective time of prayer.
