Today, children in Year 5 led Key Stage assemblies about St Carlos Acutis. It is just one year since this amazing young man became a saint and some children in Year 5 spent time with Mrs Milford last term learning all about him. St Carlos was born in 1991 and he was only 15 years old when he died yet his life has had a huge impact on others. He is known for his devotion to the Eucharist and his use of digital media to tell others about Jesus. He had great interest in computers and video games and he has been referred to as 'the patron saint of the internet'.
