Year 6 have been working hard this week exploring a side of British history that they didn't know very well; Lancaster's role in the trade of enslaved Africans across the Atlantic Ocean.

 

Despite it being a difficult and sensitive subject, they all showed amazing maturity and empathy in their work and discussions.
